Scope

Based in The Netherlands, Amsterdam, the Global Online Marketing Specialist will support the global brand visibility. The main goal of the role is to analyse the status quo and recommend changes to current digital practices, collect and coordinate requirements from and with relevant departments and stakeholders and translate them into digital strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

The Global Online Marketing Specialist has the following tasks / responsibilities:

  • The Online Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and leading projects aimed at improving the customer journey through the global and regional brand websites in line with the set corporate goals.
  • Analyses existing data while keeping up with digital marketing trends to ensure effectiveness and optimisation for online systems
  • Support in implementation of the digital marketing strategy globally in line with the set corporate goals.
  • Identifies and manages the data streams within the marketing department.
  • Defines and advises the regional marketing teams in countries on the best practices and provide support on the above-mentioned subjects.
  • Support product launches and campaigns of all hero and focus products
  • Content management of all operating websites and product information management systems and to be developed online sites in cooperation with global and regional marketing teams
  • Manage internal marketing data sources, maintain process and references documents.
  • Delivering input for data related initiatives i.e. CRM project.
  • Managing digital agencies and other external partners supporting the brands’ digital presence

What are we looking for?

Competences

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and/or Communication
  • 3 years of experience in Digital/Online Marketing in a multicultural global corporate setting
  • A solid affinity with Consumer Electronics products/trends (online) landscape
  • Analytical skills, translating analysis in conclusion and action
  • Excellent command of English language (written and verbal)
  • Web savvy, pro-active digital native
  • Skills set: organisation, strong, interpersonal, communication, analytical, ambitious, planning, reporting, skills and a can-do mentality
  • Understanding of current online marketing concepts, tactics and best practice.
  • Feels comfortable in an international environment
  • Team spirited, with ability to work autonomously and set priorities
  • Shows a positive, proactive and self-motivated attitude

Computer skills

  • Acquaintance with HTML/CSS, Google Analytics, SEA, SEO
  • Affinity with PIM systems (eg. Inriver)
  • Experience with CRM solutions such as Salesforce (Pardot), or others

Preferred Skills

Problem Solving

  • From existing materials and strategies, be able to create relevant and impactful marketing plans and messages.
  • Delivering input and management of yearly digital marketing budget in alignment with Global Marketing Lead

Accountability

  • Work with various internal stakeholder groups
  • Work with external business partners.
  • Execution of marketing initiatives, based on the long term needs of the business
