MMD Monitors & Displays – Internship Marketing & Communication – Amsterdam (the Netherlands Feb 2025)

Do you want to work for great brand and be part of MMD Monitors & Displays? This is your chance! We are looking for an enthusiastic, all-round (Bachelor or Master) intern per February 2025 who can support and develop in our dynamic and international marketing team.

About the company 
MMD is a wholly owned company of TPV Technology established in 2009 through a brand license agreement with Philips. MMD exclusively markets and sells Philips branded LCD displays worldwide. By combining the Philips brand promise with TPV’s manufacturing expertise in displays, MMD uses a fast and focused approach to bringing innovative products to market. MMD serves worldwide markets from major regional offices including Amsterdam, Prague, Shanghai, Singapore, São Paulo and Fremont (EPI). Through its network of local sales teams MMD works with all major IT distributors and resellers. The company’s design and development center is located in Taiwan. 

Responsibilities 

MMD Newsletter  

  • Collecting news (monthly) 
  • Drafting the newsletter topics 
  • Coordinating copywriting and translations 

Websites and online 

  • Keeping MMD partner net and websites up to date  

Miscellaneous 

  • Updating of corporate presentations 
  • Merchandize management (updating inventory lists, distribution) 
  • Special Requests / Mini-projects (e.g. benchmarking, events) 

Samples Management Prioritizing Distribution 

  • Stock Replenishments 
  • Retrievals 
  • Ongoing contact with local PR agencies regarding sample and other needs 

What are we looking for? 

  • A student working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Media, Business or a similar study 
  • Marketing or Communication experience gained from a previous internship, job or extracurricular or volunteer activities (longer than 3 months) 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English 
  • Availability for 6 months preferred 
  • An eager, organized, motivated and pro-active attitude 
  • Ability to link the dots

  • Fulltime internship position of 6 months (earliest possible start date February 2025) in European HQ Amsterdam (next to Amstel station)
