Verdict: „The Philips 242B1V originates from the business-oriented B-Line. The 24-incher is perfect for all workplaces where confidential data must be processed, because a privacy function is directly integrated in the 242B1V. If this is activated, the image darkens considerably when viewed from the side, which makes it very difficult for outsiders to recognise information. This is useful for many areas from medicine to authorities. In addition, the device offers an excellent equipment with four different display connections, a loudspeaker, a USB hub and various software modes for everyday work, such as a blue light filter or an automatic brightness adjustment. The latter function further improves the already good energy efficiency. Thanks to the freely adjustable stand, you are completely free to decide how the monitor is to be set up.“
