Powerful new allies to Increase Productivity: The New Philips 34B2U6603CH and 34B2U5600C boost Workflow Efficiency and Productivity

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands – On August 14th, 2024, two new monitors to elevate working experience with high-tech connectivity features hit the market: the Philips 34B2U6603CH, as an addition to the Philips 6000 business monitor line, and the Philips 34B2U5600C, from the Philips 5000 business series, will be available for purchase.

Along with their immersive 34-inch curved screen and 3440 x 1440 WQHD resolution to produce beautiful and bright imagery with high-quality definition, these two models are designed to give professionals of all sectors the quality and specifications they need to reach new levels of productivity. Their outstanding feature is their swift and secure connection, with Thunderbolt 4 or USB-C respectively, which makes working with multiple sources an easier feat and thus improves workflow, productivity and efficiency.

Built with business and connectivity in mind
The Philips 34B2U6603CH includes Thunderbolt 4 connectivity to transfer data at high speeds and charge external devices via power delivery up to 100W, supporting high-resolution video, offering multi-stream transport for daisy chaining, and increasing overall productivity at a rapid pace and provides 2.5G RJ-45 secure and fast connection. The Philips 34B2U5600C, on the other hand, offers RJ-45 connection with USB-C technology that provides swift and secure network connection, while USB 3.2 enables one-cable docking for high-resolution video output from PC to monitor, plus the ability to power and charge a notebook computer directly from the monitor without requiring any additional cables with a maximum power delivery of 100W.

In addition, the Philips 34B2U6603CH and Philips 34B2U5600C are aimed to ease everyday workflows: the Smart KVM feature (an upgrade from the traditional integrated KVM switch) enables switching between sources with a single click.

A new webcam that supports collaboration
Another powerful feature in the Philips 34B2U6603CH’s arsenal is the adjustable pop-up 5MP webcam, which not only offers crystal-clear camera quality, but it also creates a Busylight that can sync with Microsoft Teams statuses to notify colleagues of your availability.

On top of offering such a powerful webcam, the Philips 34B2U6603CH also features webcam auto-framing, tilt and noise-cancellation functionalities that automatically adjust to properly fit all team members within the webcam view during a meeting, enhancing the comfort during videocalls. Together with built-in 2x5W speakers, all this set of features makes remote teamwork a more comfortable and less noisy experience.

Additional features for the Philips 34B2U6603CH and 34B2U5600C
When it comes to what else the Philips 34B2U6603CH and Philips 34B2U5600C have to offer, the focus shifts to their ergonomic and green features. They both include a Height Adjustment Stand (HAS) that tilts, swivels, and adjusts to fit user preferences, making for the ultimate customizable and comfortable options for everyone in the workspace.

Designed with the environment in mind, these monitors boast a host of green features including a LightSensor and PowerSensor that can lead to up to 80% reduction in energy costs. Moreover, Philips 34B2U6603CH includes Power Sensor 2 which reduces energy consumption by detecting when users move closer and further away from the screen. When OSD adjustments are made, the monitor and connected PC/laptop will wake when someone approaches it and will sleep when someone walks away, effectively reducing the amount of wake time.

Additionally, these are made using 85% post-consumer recycled plastic and 5% OBP (ocean-based plastic), to further strengthen the commitment to sustainability.

The Philips 34B2U6603CH and 34B2U5600C monitors will be available for purchase on August and with an MSRP of 649,00 and € 549,00 respectively.
