Product Specialist – Amsterdam (the Netherlands)

Within the Product Management department, in close cooperation with our Marketing team, we aim to introduce an optimal product portfolio tailored for the European market. As a Product Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the operational and administrative backbone of the Product Management department. Reporting directly to the Technical Product Lead, with a dual reporting line to the Head of Product Management, you will ensure the smooth execution of product operations, contribute to the efficient management of our product lines, and support the seamless launch and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities:

Product Documentation and Information Management

  • Keep all product specifications, updates, and modifications well-documented and easily accessible.
  • Manage PIM and guide interns in managing our Product Information Management (PIM) systems and collaborate with our Global Production Management (GPM) and manufacturing factories to ensure accuracy in all product data.

Technical Support and Development

  • Assist in refining product development processes to boost efficiency and propose process improvements.
  • Coordinate technical product development projects, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals across departments.
  • Support technical pre-sales and regulatory inquiries from sales teams and key customers.

Quality Assurance and Market Analysis

  • Conduct product trends market research and analyze feedback from industry journalists to guide design improvements and product training.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to resolve product issues and support improving quality control standards.
  • Assist in reviewing and testing products at various stages—from pre-production to mass production stage unboxing—to ensure they meet performance and satisfaction criteria. Share insights with international stakeholders.

Marketing and Sustainability Initiatives

  • Support marketing efforts at internal and external events and project launches with PR agencies and content creators.
  • Lead compliance efforts to meet all regulatory standards and partner with our CSR & Sustainability Manager on projects to reduce environmental impact, like green packaging and E-Waste management.
  • Continually enhance our sustainability-related marketing messages, sharing our commitment to sustainable practices with a broad audience.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in product or project management  within a technology-focused industry.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with the IT hardware, display and gaming/peripherals industry is advantageous.
  • Experience with sustainability practices is beneficial.
  • Fluent in English, with clear and effective communication skills. Knowledge of Chinese is highly advantageous for interactions with suppliers.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and experienced with project management tools like Monday.com. Ability to quickly adapt to new software tools.
  • A fast learner who thrives in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. Proactive, eager to contribute, and committed to enhancing team dynamics and company culture.
  • For this position we prefer candidates who are already living in the Netherlands.
